City and Guilds NVQ level 2 Hospitality and Catering training programmes designed to qualify your staff and employees and ensure their competence in the working environment.

These qualifications are assessed by one of our assessors in the workplace who will provide regular guidance on completing a portfolio of work and with end of unit tests where applicable in the course.

Front Office

This training programme is designed for those currently employed in the hospitality front office sector who are hoping to improve their skills. Offered at NVQ Level 2, this course covers a number of basic skills including team work and good customer service.

Professional Cookery

This programme is designed for those currently employed in the hospitality food preparation and cooking sector who are looking to improve their skills. Offered at Level 2, this course covers a number of basic skills including basic food hygiene in the workplace and food preparation for basic dishes.

Food and Drink Services

This programme is designed for those currently employed in the hospitality food service sector who are looking to improve their skills. Offered at Level 2, this course covers a number of basic skills including food safety and silver service.

Housekeeping

This programme is designed for those currently employed in the housekeeping sector within care homes, hospices and hotels who are looking to build on their skills. Offered at Level 2, this course covers a number of basic skills such as working in a team as well as more specific units aimed at the sector.
