Training and qualifications for staff who are working in the engineering sectors.

Performing Manufacturing Operations NVQ Level 2

This staff training programme is aimed at those looking to further their knowledge and skills in the manufacturing and engineering sector. It will give employees a basic grounding in the skills required to work in the industry. It covers areas such as controlling manufacturing operations and improving effectiveness in the workplace as well as a number of optional units for candidates.

This qualification is assessed through a portfolio of evidence produced by the candidate with the assistance of a trained assessor who will guide them through this process.

Business Improvement Techniques NVQ

This course is aimed at employees within the engineering sector but could also be taken on by those working in other industries who are keen to improve productivity and cut waste in production/provision of goods and services.

We are able to offer this programme at two levels depending on the candidate:

Level 2
This course will cover the key skills required to work in the engineering industry and is aimed at employees with little or no responsibility in the workplace.

Level 3
This more advanced programme is aimed at those with positions of responsibility within an organisation and offers a wide range of higher level units for candidates.

Both programmes are assessed using a portfolio of work collated during the period of study with the assistance of a trained assessor.
