Certificate in Warehouse and Storage Skills
This training programme is offered at Level 2 and is aimed at employees working within a warehousing environment and storage operations sector.
The primary objective is contributing to the development of a skilled workforce and ensuring competence.
The programme provides an opportunity for an employee to show evidence of being adept at a particular job, helps with promotion prospects and allows them to gain a formal qualification at their own pace and in a flexible way.
Logistics Operations Management NVQ
This NVQ training programme is offered at Level 3 and is aimed at employees who are involved with distributive operations.
This could include dealing with the handling and storing of goods within commercial, industrial or removers’ warehouses or freight facility, movement of goods, customer service and stock control. Usually, employees will be managing teams of people and have a degree of responsibility for the logistics operation and have some autonomy.
The programme covers key skills such as identifying the logistics requirements of a supply chain and maintaining health and safety along with a number of optional units.
These qualifications are assessed in the workplace by one of our assessors who will help to guide the candidates through producing a portfolio.
