Contributing to Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults

Care standards regulations make Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults training mandatory for anyone working in a care environment. This full day course is designed to meet national standards and to ensure staff are well equipped to safeguard vulnerable adults in their care.
The Key learning objectives are:
- Policies and procedures relating to the protection of adults
- To recognise the different forms of abuse
- To identify the participants role in preventing abuse
- How to respond to and report abuse
There are no formal requirements however participants need to be working in either the Health & Social Care sector or in the Childcare Learning & Development Sector.
How Is This Course Delivered?
This is delivered as a full day course in the workplace. Dependant on the course a written assessment or a multiple choice question sheet will be completed by the participants at the end of the day.
