ILM Level 3 Award in Leadership and Management

In today’s competitive business environment, effective management skills are highly sought after and essential for those looking to progress up the career ladder. This programme provides essential management skills to practising and potential first line managers, giving them a solid basis from which to take on a managerial role. Aimed at new or aspiring first line managers, this Institute of Leadership and Management programme will give a solid foundation in formal development as a manager.

While there are no formal entry requirements for the qualification, it is expected that participants are practising or aspiring first line managers so as to meet assessment demands. Candidates should have a suitable background including Level 2 Key Skills Literacy and Numeracy or their equivalent to benefit from the programme. In cases where this is not applicable, we will be able to offer guidance and support to participants.

ILM Level 3 Certificate in Facilities Management

A bespoke 8 day programme delivering an in depth introduction to understanding and leading a facilities management team for practicing or potential first line managers.

Following this course you will understand what facilities management involves, have identified and practiced specific facility management skills, understand how to motivate yourself and others, be confident in managing the health and safety of staff members and broadened your understanding of Leadership and Management skills.

ILM Level 3 - Coaching at Work

Coaching is arguably the single most important method for individuals, teams and organisations to enhance their performance. It is an essential organisational tool for promoting a healthy work/life balance amongst employees, and is also a crucial building block for personal and organisational development. An effective coach is above all a good listener – someone who is prepared to put the stuff of their life on hold for a while, to invest time in drawing out the best in another.

This programme gives attendee's the skills needed to know when to coach, the skills to use, practice with coaching models, planning coaching sessions and practice delivering coaching sessions.

ILM Level 5 Award in Leadership and Management

Aimed at those already occupying managerial roles, this programme aims to give participants an understanding of current and future demands of management and leadership. It will provide opportunities for participants to develop an insight into making good decisions at difficult times and resolving situations while maintaining good relationships. This Institute of Leadership and Management programme focuses on positive approaches to allow participants to grow in confidence within a management role.

This relatively new qualification is made up of two units covering understanding the role of a manager as well as assessing their own leadership ability.
