The Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) is the professional body dedicated to representing the interests of the UK’s £19.7 billion recruitment industry in Parliament, Whitehall, the European Commission and to press and opinion formers. Representing more than 3750 businesses and 5550 individuals, they are committed to raising standards and highlighting excellence throughout the recruitment industry and all REC Members must abide by the REC Code of Professional Practice.

Being an REC Corporate Member – as well as holding individual memberships for staff members – shows that we are recruitment specialists and are committed to raising industry standards.

Chartered Institute of Management

The Chartered Management Institute (CMI) has been backing professional managers for more than 60 years. In the 1950's they developed the UK’s first diploma in management studies and have continued to be at the forefront of management training and development ever since. We have a dedicated and well qualified team to deliver Leadership and Management training from 1 day high impact workshops to a BA Hons Leadership and Management Degree.


National Training Awards

The National Training Awards are the premier accolade for training and development in the UK and are run by UK Skills on behalf of the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills. The Awards are unique because entries are received from all sectors, industries and areas across the UK and in return the entrants are provided with the exceptional opportunity to have their training judged against the best in the UK.

Working with Luminar Group Holdings Plc we won this prestigious award in 2009. An incredible achievement and testament to our partnership with them.


Training Quality Standard

The Training Quality Standard is an achievement that can only be achieved by the best colleges. In October 08 Loughborough College was assessed against the Training Quality Standard assessment framework that is built on an evidence base of employer's needs, provider practice and delivery through established industry methods.

This process assessed the college for its quality, capability and improvement in working with employers and we are pleased to announce that we were assessed as meeting this exacting standard.

Achievement of the Training Quality Standard mark ensures you that Loughborough College is recognised as being one of the best colleges in the country for understanding and meeting employer needs.


ILM

The Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) is a professional body which aims to build leadership and management capability at individual, team and organisational levels. ILM provides managers in every sector and in every role with the active support they need to advance in management. As part of the City & Guilds Group, ILM represents a strategic initiative to support excellence in leadership and management and is the largest Awarding Body of its kind in Europe.

Being an ILM approved centre shows that we are specialists in delivering a range of competence based programmes, from Team Leading to a Masters equivalent.


Customer Service Excellence

The Customer Service Excellence award is a Government Scheme designed to recognise exemplary delivery of public services. We use it as a tool for continuous improvement in customer service and it is unique in its focus on the service the customer actually receives. Using the Customer Service Excellence principles helps Loughborough College determine what the customer wants and how that can be delivered effectively. It is recognition of the excellence we have achieved in how we work with customers, demonstrating to you the commitment we have in providing an exemplary level of service.

Its aim is to bring about change; motivate staff; and symbolise quality services.

The Matrix Standard

The Matrix Standard is the unique quality framework for the effective delivery of information, advice and guidance on learning and work.

At the heart of the matrix Standard is continuous improvement. We take on board the Assessor's feedback, combine it with Loughborough Colleges own improvement objectives, and create a Continuous Improvement Plan that challenges what we do and how we do it.
